Made properly, by one person

Video, graphics, audio, music and storytelling for businesses and brands. On my own when the job is small enough, with a crew when it isn't.

This page has a soundtrack. Scroll down and a new layer comes in with each section. Best with headphones.

Records, scores and the odd rebuild

Twenty years of writing, producing, and playing before any of the rest of it, and still the thing the camera work grew out of.

I've had the pleasure of being in a room to work with many great music artists down through the years, either composing with them or helping them tell their story sonically through audio production, programming and engineering duties. Mundy, Bressie, Cathy Davey, David Kitt, Jon Bon Jovi, Celine Dion — a broad cross-section of artists and music styles. I must someday make a proper list.

I've released four albums of original music under the moniker Autamata, where Cathy Davey and Carol Keogh were regular contributors, and then a number of singles and EPs as I'm Your Vinyl with Dana Donnelly. Many tracks from my first Autamata album, My Sanctuary, were picked up for use in film and TV commercials around the world — which led to some engagement as a music composer within that world.

A career highlight was co-producing The Big Romance album with David Kitt, which went on to achieve triple platinum sales. Last year, I took some time out and worked with David to rebuild the album from scratch for its twenty-fifth anniversary.

Composing original music is my true passion, and I still do it as often as I can — for cathartic and expressive purposes mostly, rather than for public release. I will always be obsessed with sound. It's an endless adventure.

Who you get

Just me. You deal with one person, and I stay on it from the first conversation to the last. For bigger jobs, I bring in people I've worked with for years.
